A BIOGRAPHY OF A HORSE

A horse is a bounty given by Allah to people. Today I am going to talk about my pet horse whose loving memories will always remain in my heart.

On 8th August, it was farmer's day, our school decided to visit a farm. We saw many farm animals over there. I liked one of the ponies and persuaded my father to buy one for me.

After two days, I was gifted a pony by my parents. I was very happy and named it Hood. It had brown skin and rough, dark brown hair. It had a beautiful neighing sound and it liked to gallop here and there in its new stable.

Every morning before going to school, I used to give it some lumps of sugar and kept a bucket of water near it. Every Sundays, I bathed it and had a ride on it.

One Saturday, when I went near my horse, it wasn't behaving normally. It seemed as if it was sick. I called my father and he told me to take it to the veterinarian.

He came with me and we were both very worried. The veterinarian told us that Hood had a problem in one of his legs. Hood was injected and it remained unconscious for some time. My father and I went home with Hood after two hours.

The next day, the sun was shining brightly high up in the sky. I woke up and ran towards the stable. Hood was behaving a little normally and I jumped up and down with joy and happiness. I was more careful about my little pony that had grown into a big smart stallion.

After ten years, Hood quietly passed away in its stable. It gave me a lot of pleasure and I was devoted to it. I miss it till today.
