KG 3 teachers had organized a STORY PARK PROGRAM and had invited kg.3 parents to come and see their children’s beautiful performances on different stories and hekayat/riwayat.

Parents shared their de-stessing tips at the entrance, few of them participated in the balloon de-stressing activity to make them feel rejuvenated.

Importance of parks and playgrounds was shared in the welcome speech by the HoS. At the park children develop a sense of nature, learn some important life lessons from trees, plants and creatures made by Allah taala. Parks are great places to get the kids outside and improve their mental and physical health.

Following stories were enacted by the children:

  • Caterpillar looks for a shoe
  • How flowers got their colours
  • Kiri, kabutar ane tiddo (2 hekayats in 1)
  • Little worms
  • The giving tree
  • Imam husain no mojizo (yahoodi dikri ne shifa thai gayi)

The program helped the children to express themselves both verbally and physically using body language which are key for making them better and more effective communicators in life.

It also helped them to build self-confidence, public speaking and improved their language skills.

Rhymes and tree yoga pose was presented by the children too.

The program ended with the Zikr riwayat on Imam husain (a.s) and recitation of shahadat.
