Food is considered a bounty of the Almighty and as such, wastage is not condoned in any form. Prophet Mohammed Rasulullah SAW states: “There is no deed greater than feeding the hungry”

Under the leadership of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS, the Dawoodi Bohra community has always taken the matter of food security and food wastage very seriously.

Addressing the global issue of food security and food wastage, World Food Day is celebrated each year on the 16th of October. Its aim is to promote worldwide awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger and to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all, striving to achieve ZERO HUNGER. This is the second goal of 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.

• Sharing is caring

• Show and tell , etc

To spread the above message beyond the school campus and share it with the society

• A WALK was organized on Saturday 13th October 2018 from 7:30 am to 9:30am.
