A school stage programme is like a showcase that displays the talents of its students. Al Madrasa’s stage programme on the evening of 7th Rajab ul Asab, 24th March, 2018 did just that. It had the audience spellbound from start to finish. The 16-act show was based on Ashara Mubaraka waaz on subjects taught in Al Jamea tus Saifiyah where Aqa Moula (tus) expounded on the significance of each for a temporal and spiritual well-being of a mumin.

The curtains were raised to a scenic background that reflected books as a simile for a blooming garden. Al Quraano afzalun min kulle shay-in, the tarteelan tilawat and the rhythmic recitation of qasidah set the pace of an enthralling 90 mins show. Spectators were charmed by the mesmerizing kindergarteners in vibrant costumes who performed endearingly on the rhyme of “Allah’s Creation, “A day without Sun” and a nasheed on Hifz ul Quraan. A novel and pulsating rap performance by pupils of Lower Primary on “Life is full of calculation” drew an overwhelming round of applause. The Upper Primary pupils presented an interesting skit on the trend of getting hooked to modern time apps versus the traditional but knowledge-packed books, the wisdom-filled riwayat of Behlool to seek knowledge elsewhere and the crowd-puller Kiswahili skit on the Climb to the highest peak of Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro, that emphasized pursuit of knowledge with training and practice enables one to reach high echelons. Secondary students enlightened the audience with a skit that depicted acquisition of education paramount to become successful professionals and lead a comfortable life. Aqa Moula (TUS) asserts that the pivot of all knowledge is Zikre Husain AS and the solemn and agonizing recitation of Shahadat of Imam Husain AS by children of KG 3 and Noha by Al Madrasa Zakereen brought the programme to a successful end. Parents and well-wishers were impressed by the dynamic and confident performances of students in impeccable command of Arabi, Lisan ud Dawat, English and Kiswahili.

May Allah ta-ala give the fountain of all knowledge, our Beloved Moula, Syedna Aaliqadar Mufaddal Saifuddin (tus) a long life till eternity.

May the garden of Al Madrasa perpetually flourish with the waters from this fountain and may its flowers bloom to lead an illuminating life in this world and the hereafter. Aamin.
